Uni Posca Markers

Uni Posca Markers are an acrylic paint pen by Uniball that have a worldwide following in many industries. They are a system of pens rather than just a single "one size fits all" marker. The nibs come in different sizes and shapes from the tiny .7mm Ultrafine outliner through to the giant 15mm Broad Chisel Posca Marker. There is a size and colour for every application. The acrylic "paint" is fast drying and lightfast. The paint is much more opaque than solvent inks. It tends to sit on the surface rather than sink in like an ink, making it much more opaque. The colours are vibrant and the pigments are long-lasting.

The high quality of Posca Markers and the simplicity of use can probably account for the cult-like following Posca's have had over many years. They are used in many industries from fine art to window advertising (these make excellent Glass Markers.). Each pen is defined by the thickest line it can draw in one stroke. The nibs are either bullet or chisel tipped.

Posca Markers all have a ball-bearing inside to help mix the paint. Before each use please shake the Posca well until the ball-bearing is moving freely inside the pen.
